For over 35 years, Ocean Conservancy's International Coastal Cleanup has spearheaded worldwide efforts to cleanse coastlines and rid the oceans of plastics and debris. Thanks to the collective action of 17 million volunteers, over 350 million pounds of waste have been removed and documented, supporting crucial international research and policy-making.
On 21st September 2024, Live Here Love Here, the local coordinator for the campaign, will support clean-up events along Northern Ireland's coastlines to promote a global day of action. Numerous volunteers join together to help protect our beaches and marine life from harmful pollutants.
