Adopt A Spot is your opportunity to make a real difference in your local area — whether you're part of a school, business, community group, or simply someone who cares about the environment. Join a growing movement of people helping nature recover — one spot at a time.
There are so many ways to get involved! You might choose to keep a favourite place litter-free, create habitats to welcome local wildlife, or inspire others by showing how small actions can lead to big, shared benefits.
How to Get Involved
1. Choose Your Spot
Pick a place you’re passionate about — whether it’s a littered stretch of beach, a neglected alley, or your local park. Always make sure the area is safe and that you have permission to access it.
2. Plan Your Activities
Decide what you’d like to do in your Spot. You could plant for pollinators, create habitats for wildlife, grow food for your community, or carry out a regular clean-up.
3. Register Your Spot
Create an account on Submittable and sign up to Adopt A Spot here. By registering, you agree to care for your Spot and follow our Health and Safety Handbook.
4. Log Your Progress
Once registered, log in to your account to track your activities using the Litter Log. This helps us stay up to date with your great work! Each year, we’ll also send a short survey to hear your feedback and celebrate your progress.
