Adopt A Spot is your chance to make a real difference in your local area - whether you're part of a school, business, community group, or simply someone who cares about your environment. Join a growing movement of people helping nature recover, one spot at a time.
There are so many ways to get involved! Maybe you know a place that could use some regular litter picking. Perhaps you'd like to create new habitats to welcome local wildlife. Or maybe your passion lies in inspiring others by showing how small actions can lead to big, shared benefits.
Already have a spot in mind? Scroll down to find out how to register your spot and start making a difference today!
Choose Your Spot: Choose a spot you’re passionate about, such as a littered stretch of beach, a messy alley, or simply your neighbourhood street. Always make sure the area is safe and that you have permission to access it.
Plan Your Activities: Decide what activities you wish to undertake in your Spot. You could plant for pollinators, create wildlife habitats, grow food for the community, or do a clean-up.
Register: Create an account on Submittable and sign-up to Adopt A Spot here. By signing up, you agree to maintain your Spot and follow our health and safety guidance.
Log Your Progress: Log in to your account and track your progress by completing the Litter Log. The Litter Log keeps us up to date with your spot activities. We'll also send out an annual survey to check how you are getting on and get your feedback.
We’d also love to see your impact—why not share some before-and-after pictures of your Spot? Feel free to email them to us here.
