The Small Grant Scheme is now open for applications until 17th September 2024, offering another exciting opportunity to apply for funding for projects aimed at revitalising shared greenspaces benefitting the community and the environment. Connecting Communities events are taking place across our 9 partner council areas this August and September. The Live Here Love Here team will be available to offer advice and support on applying to the Small Grant Scheme. It is highly recommended that you attend an in person or the online event. This is a unique chance to link up with other like-minded people in your area, share ideas and best practice and come together to affect real change. The Small Grants Scheme for the year 2023-24 saw an impressive number of applications, totaling 454. This includes an encouraging 249 new applicants showing interest in the scheme and in environmental and community development. This year was particularly successful, with a significant 89 projects completing their grant project. The total investment allocated amounted to a whooping £113,760! Check out some previous projects:
